Rehearsals are in full swing at Lichfield Musical Youth Theatre as we get ready to celebrate four decades of unforgettable performances, friendships, and musical magic.

Our current members are working incredibly hard – learning harmonies, polishing choreography, and pouring their hearts into every note – as they prepare to take the stage alongside an extraordinary line-up of alumni from across the years.

From our youngest performers right up to those who’ve gone on to grace the West End, national tours, international stages, and beyond, this one-night-only concert promises to be a true celebration of everything LMYT stands for: talent, teamwork, passion, and community.

We’re thrilled to be welcoming back so many familiar faces – from original members from the 1980s to more recent alumni who were with us just a few years ago. Some have gone on to dazzling professional careers, others now teach, choreograph, write, or inspire in different fields – but every one of them shares a common thread: their journey began right here in Lichfield Youth Theatre.

The 40th Anniversary Concert will feature musical theatre highlights from iconic shows like Les Misérables, Oliver!, Phantom of the Opera, and Guys and Dolls, as well as sneak previews from our upcoming productions of Six and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

It’s shaping up to be a night full of music, memories, and magic – and we can’t wait to share it with you.
